Set against the striking backdrop of southern Italy’s “White City,” OFF will bring together photographers, curators, collectors, and audiences from around the world for four days of exhibitions, talks, and cultural events. Thefestival transforms Ostuni into an immersive platform for visual storytelling, with programming spread across historic venues, public spaces, and cultural landmarks throughout the city.
Founded by Hossein Farmani, the Lucie Foundation is internationally recognized for its commitment to honoring photographic excellence and supporting emerging and established photographers alike. With OFF, the Foundation expands its global footprint by creating a physical gathering that fosters dialogue, discovery, and creative exchange.
The festival program includes a curated selection of international exhibitions, artist talks, panel discussions, and workshops, offering visitors an opportunity to engage directly with the artists and ideas shaping contemporary photography.
Key venues include Confraternita del Purgatorio, Palazzo Tanzarella, Chiostro di San Francesco, Museo Diocesano, and House of Lucie, as well as outdoor installations across Ostuni’s historic center and city walls.
The festival opens on June 18 with an Opening Night Party, followed by two days of exhibitions, lectures, and talks on June 19 and 20. OFF concludes on June 21 with a Closing Night Party and Awards Ceremony, celebrating outstanding contributions to the field of photography.
